It would be nice to have something here about the science that accounts for the tropical rain belt. In particular, why does it exist, and why does it move over the course of the seasons? -- Smjg 01:13, 2 February 2007 (UTC)

Is the tropical rain belt the same thing, or related to, the Intertropical Convergence Zone? There are some great pictures in that article that this article could use, but i don't want to add them without being sure they show the same thing. Foobaz·o< 18:24, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
