[edit] Summary

The Troup Howell Bridge in Rochester, New York. As of this June 2006 photo (shot by the submitter), the bridge is being rebuilt from its current 12-span cantilevered multi-girder bridge to a new compression arch suspended-deck bridge. Looking from the south, the southern (eastbound) span is nearing completion, while the original northern (westbound) spans remain, carrying both directions of traffic for Interstate 490 through downtown Rochester.
