Non-profit and Charitable Organizations in Malaysia
In Malaysia, specialized organizations cater to the needs of the children, youth, the elderly, individuals with disabilities, patients going through debilitating illnesses such as cancer and kidney failure, those in their final stages of life, and even the environment. In the past three decades, the number of these organizations has increased multi-fold. Despite this, several challenges that persist are difficulties in acquiring information and accessing these services, a lack of trained professionals and para-professionals to cater to ever-growing social needs, and a need for change at the systemic level to provide care from cradle to death.
This Wikipedia article features several organizations who reach out passionately and perseveringly to this group.
