I'm a Christian because God said he loves me. I'm also a mathematician and teacher and as of late 2007 a Wikipedian. By training I'm a topologist or geometer. In practice, I suppose I'm an algebraist. So in general, I'm rather confused.

mathematics is easy: the only hard part about it is the notation and vocabulary
writing mathematics is hard: the only easy part about it is obfuscating your meaning
99% of mathematics can be understood by everyone
good mathematics is not good unless it's communicated well
you should write mathematics for your audience, not yourself
writing mathematics without including figures is almost always lazy (and I am guilty of this)
