[edit] Hawk incident

On December 12, 2007, while being filmed for an educational video, Isenhour allegedly killed a red-shouldered hawk by hitting it with a golf ball. According to court documents, Isenhour was irritated by the noises the hawk was making. He hit golf balls at the bird until one struck it in the head. He could face up to 14 months in prison and $1,500 in fines for killing the bird, which is protected as a migratory species.[1]
