Talk:Triple Crown of Brazilian Football

[edit] Triple Crown in Brazil
Triple Crown is a term used by European team when they won the Champions'League, National League and National Cup. In South America, it should be Libertadores, National League and National Cup. Thus, no team have won this yet. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.108.137.234 (talk • contribs).
- According to a book, named É Campeão, by Vanderlei Luxemburgo and Ingo Ostrovsky, Cruzeiro is the only club to have achieved the Brazilian Triple Crown (Cruzeiro won the state championship, the national championship and the national cup). The fact is that the Brazilian Triple Crown is different from the European Triple Crown. A Brazilian club disputing Copa Libertadores is not allowed by the Brazilian Football Confederation to dispute the same year's Copa do Brasil (National Cup), so having an European-like Triple Crown doesn't make sense in Brazil.
