[edit] Provinces

Hello, According to the new Capodistrias law there are no provinces in Greece any more.I would recommend to delete the sentence "Trikala has to provinces". Primus Inter Pares 23:17, 12 May 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Trikala vs. Trikkala [sic]

What's the authoritative (or preferred?) transliteration of this name, for use when writing in English? I've encountered the latter spelling (e.g. on Expedia maps), and need to know on what grounds to change my text if appropriate. -- Thanks, Deborahjay 13:36, 11 December 2006 (UTC)

The city's official site uses Trikala, which is also by far the more common transliteration. --Delirium 21:51, 23 December 2006 (UTC)
