Talk:Triathlon equipment

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The entire section on aerobars is factually incorrect. Aerobars don't have the bullhorn shape, that's a base bar. They also weren't invented originally for triathlon use.

"...three disciplines yet still be comfortable enough for" is a horribly taunting finish for the beginning of the triathlon clothing section C14 21:48, 15 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] extreme geometry?

"Some extreme forms of triathlon bicycles alter the shape and geometry of the frame to such a degree that they do not even resemble bicycles to the casual eye."

This seems totally bogus to me, triathlon has rules around the geometry of a bike meaning enclosed recumbent aren't allowed. I think this description is pretty hokey, unless someone can present some evidence regarding this I'm removing it.
