To get us started, we might want to tie-in a FAC setup where we can award good article and good list classifications and give it some further touch-up before taking it to the big leagues, maybe something to tie in with the peer review? Also, this intrigued me:
there is an existing template for now, should we not reuse/continue to use it?
Which existing template do you mean? treelo talk 20:00, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- The original had {{Cartoon NetworkProject}} for tagging talk pages, but there is already {{Cartoon Network}}, unless you want to rename/move the existing one? Yngvarr (c) 20:17, 6 June 2008 (UTC)
- That's wikiEd find/replace on long articles and not checking them over properly for you, that's just a fudgeup on my part as it'd be dumb to move it. Noticed you also linked WP:TOON which'd just link to itself when it goes live, just something to note. As for the rest, I'm sure there's certain parts we may not need or use, comment them out I guess as you have been so far. New suggestions are welcome as you know, just don't borrow anything from the Nick project, that place is 95% fanboi. treelo talk 20:22, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

- I'm done for now, going to go away for a bit and pick up later. I'm probably going to make {{CN Navigation}} live in a bit, unless you beat me. Right now it's just under your sandbox, but I'd like to start putting it on the various pages I've been seeding. Yngvarr (c) 21:22, 6 June 2008 (UTC)

(undent)Well, I think I'm done to my general satisfaction for now. There are a few redlinks, couple of project pages and templates, but nothing I see as really show-stopping. Yngvarr (c) 01:05, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
- For now at least I hope, seems this will need some real long term support given how much is currently commented out and hopefully we can utilise in due time. Anyway, I'm fine with what we've been able to achieve so far and given a few more tweaks and talks about parts which concern us either now or in the future we'll be able to go live with it within a few days. See what we can do about the bot-assisted new articles list as even though article creation goes slowly enough to not require a bot, we will need one just so it's less things to manage. Nothing else of real concern just yet, just waiting for the right amount of activity to come along from others to make a lot of it work as you can't really run a Jumpaclass with two people. treelo talk 01:24, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
