[edit] It's pronounced Tree-nuh
I was born in Louisville, Kentucky on 26 November of 1991 at Norton Hospital. I was named Trina Renee Toohey, which everybody seems to mispronounce even though it's quite simple. Although not a hillbilly, I did grow up in a part of town that would make you believe such. Considering that I'm 16 years of age, nothing much has happened in my life to merit an autobiography. I had a very typical white trash childhood, and I'm estranged from the majority of my family.
About 90% of my friends are of the male variety. Also, most of them I know only from the internet. I don't do well socially with people, crowds make me nervous. When I get happy and excited, however, I get very happy and excited. I'm drawn to extremes, oddities, and the unusual. Also, how the 1950's housewife kept her sanity.
[edit] Little of this, little of that.
I'm very quiet and reserved, and I read more than anybody I know. I spend most of my time on the internet. I'm fluent in English and speak minimal German, which I'm trying to improve upon. My ancestry is Sicilian and German on the maternal side, on the paternal side it's Melungeon.
I've been diagnosed with a plethora of mental illnesses, including but not limited to Intermittent Explosive Disorder, Depression, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, PTSD and a physical varient of Tourette's Syndrome. However, I don't take psychiatric medications for any of these due to the multiple side effects. When I was younger, I also suffered from Arnold-Chiari Malformation, but this has been corrected with a decompression surgery. Because of panic attacks and general anxiety, I don't attend a traditional high school, rather, the virtual equivalent.
I, unfortunately, mainly operate on Windows. Whenever I can manage to borrow someone else's Macbook I do so, and I'm saving up to get one. Ideally I'd like to run both Mac and Linux.
I have a slight interest in psychology and the workings of the human brain, mainly what makes us all have our own distinct personalities and characteristics. I bought in and took the MBTI test, apparently I'm an INTP, or, Architect.
[edit] I don't burn water?
Over the past three or four years I've developed an uncanny ability to cook; at least, better than most of the people around me. I have nothing else to do with my life so I've recently devoted my time to pursuing the culinary arts and I hope to attend the Culinary Insitute of America. Unfortunately, cooking and baking are two completely different things, and I have near no ability in the baking area. I can make simple things from scratch (cakes, brownies, cookies, muffins, bread..), I'm no pastry chef.
[edit] I like:
