Treaty of Lübeck

The Treaty of Lübeck was signed in Lübeck on May 22, 1629 by Albrecht von Wallenstein, Duke of Friedland, and King Christian IV of Denmark-Norway. This agreement formally ended Denmark's participation in the Thirty Years' War. The terms of the treaty allowed King Christian to maintain Danish territories (i.e. Holstein) under the condition that the king no longer intervene further in German/Habsburg affairs. This agreement was considered a victory for both Catholics and Habsburgs.
