[edit] Mellotron
i could be wrong but i dont think that tony banks had a mellotron at the time of trespass. im pretty sure the first recording with a mellotron was the fountain of samalcis.
- Well you are half-wrong: he didn't own his own mellotron at the time, no. But they recorded the album in a studio, and believe it or not, most studios actually have their own equipment which you can use when you're in there ;-) Moreover you can quite clearly hear mellotron on the album (for example, at the start of "White Mountain").--feline1 22:17, 28 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Critical success
We turn again to Rolling Stone magazine and his review on Tresspass, wich basicly follows the basics of describing a little bit of the album, sometimes the cover and then meddle that with phrases such as "at momments its just plain boring" along with its final word about the album "only for hardcore fans of genesis, otherwize its just not worth it". Of course, i read the review a long time ago, and i believe it can be found in its webpage so im basicly para-phrasing here, but it was something very along those lines. Trespass didnt necesarely had a critical success, though its deffinatelly a fine album and one of Genesis's best.
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Trespass70.jpg
Image:Trespass70.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
