[edit] trenton was lomax store?

Can someone fix that stupidity? How is a town known as a shopping STORE??? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.113.26.119 (talk) 15:32, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

It WAS known a Lomax Store from 1834 to 1842. At the time it was not considered a town but rather a trading post. French fur trappers plied the Weldon River and in 1963 several boys unearthed fur trapper's canoe from the river bank twelve miles upstream from the old Lomax Store. Posted 5-25-2008.
