Is there any reason for so many treaties to be at the top level in this category, or can we subcat them by chronological order and countries involved? -- Visviva 04:51, 30 July 2006 (UTC)

• Category:Treaties by country

• Self-explanatory and already established.

• Category:Treaties by topic

• Category:Drug control treaties
• Category:Peace treaties
• Category:Military alliances
• And so on.

• Category:Treaties by organization

• Category:European Union treaties
• Category:Geneva Conventions
• Category:Hague Conventions
• And so on.

• Category:Treaties by war (Only in cases where multiple treaties were made during the course of the war)

• Category:Cold War treaties
• Category:Napoleonic Wars treaties
• Category:World War II treaties
• And so on.

• Category:Treaties by century (Only subdivide if necessary; avoid overcategorization)

• Category:1800s treaties
• Category:1900s treaties

• Category:1920s treaties
