[edit] List of Noteworthy Rochesterians of New York
Noticed your move of List of Noteworthy Rochesterians of New York...
Might I suggest the following?:
- Bring the name in line with Wikipedia:Naming conventions, specifically the "lowercase second and subsequent words" and the "minimum of ambiguity" conventions.
-
- Change the name to something less clumsy: "Of New York" modifies the people (Rochesterians)—not the city. It sounds like you want the page to only contain people born in Rochester who now live somewhere in New York State, so it would not be unreasonable to assume you want List of Noteworthy Rochesterians of Michigan to contain people born in Rochester who now live somewhere in Michigan State.
- Make the page name consistent with precedent:
-
- If someone wants to come along and create a page for famous people from Rochester, Washington State, for example, let him/her create a disambiguation page.
- List of famous Atlantans—A whole lot: Atlanta (disambiguation)
- List of famous Glaswegians—Lots: Glasgow (disambiguation)
- List of famous Louisvillians—Many here: Louisville (disambiguation)
- List of famous Richmonders—There are a whole slew of these: Richmond
- List of famous Viennese—There are many of these: Vienna (disambiguation)
