Traylor Elizabeth Howard (born June 14, 1966, in Orlando, Florida, U.S.) is an American actress, best known for her role as Natalie Teeger in Monk.

[edit] Early Life
While attending Lake Highland Preparatory School, she appeared in a Juicy Fruit commercial. After graduating from high school, Traylor enrolled in Florida State University where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. During that period Traylor steered away from acting and focused on different career alternatives. She graduated university with a degree in Communications and Advertising, as well as a minor in English. However, it was not until a former boyfriend, who happened to be an actor, introduced her to the thespian world, that she found herself moving towards the idea of becoming an actress.

Traylor's most notable roles to date are as Natalie Teeger, Adrian Monk's (Tony Shalhoub) assistant on the USA Network television series Monk, and as Sharon Carter, the "Girl" of the title of the 1998-2001 sitcom Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place (later retitled Two Guys and a Girl).
She has also starred in the short-lived sitcoms Boston Common and Bram & Alice alongside actor Alfred Molina. In 1999, she appeared in the Foo Fighters' music video "Breakout." During the third season of The West Wing, Howard made a guest appearance. In 2005, she was cast as Natalie Teeger in Monk.

Traylor has been married twice. Her first marriage was to Cameron Hall in 1991, which ended in divorce. In spring 2000, she was rumored to have been dating George Clooney.[1] Currently, Traylor is in the middle of divorcing her second husband Christian Navarro, after three years of marriage. On November 24, 2006 Traylor gave birth to a son, Sabu. She was pregnant with him during season 5 of Monk, so she spent several episodes with boxes, newspapers and the like in front of her abdomen to hide the pregnancy. She has not released any information on who the father is, but has stated of Sabu, "Sabu is beautiful, and he has such a sweet demeanor."[2]
