Travers Park

Travers Park is a small community park and playground in Jackson Heights, Queens, New York. It is located between 77th and 78th Streets, on the north side of 34th Avenue. Every Sunday between March and October it is host to a small farmer's market. Community events are occasionally held there, as are games of Cricket, Baseball, Softball, Handball, Soccer, Tennis, Basketball. It is a great park, not only for the amiable people but because everyone seems to be united as a family. There is a place for toddlers, a section for a few waterworks and then a section for all the games.
