Traintown (a.k.a 3d Ultra Lionel Traintown) was a game by Sierra Entertainment that became very popular. It consists of train layouts that anybody can do. There is a Union Pacific Railroad switcher, a Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway diesel locomotive (usually used to pull passenger trains, and a steam locomotive.
