Tracey Rice (The Body) is an English former glamour model from the 1980's and 1990's. She was mainly known for her appearances as a Page 3 girl in The Sun newspaper between 1986 and 1992. From the outset she was known as Tracey Elvik, because she thought the name sounded "catchier".
[edit] Background
Elvik, who hails from Warrington, Cheshire, made her first appearance in The Sun on 24 April 1986 (St George's Day).
Elvik took her name from Jan Elvik, her manager and partner. The relationship with Jan ended very publicly after four years. She then hooked up with property tycoon Phil Peachey who proposed to her when she was 21. They had a son (Cameron), born in 1992. They split in August 1993. It was reported that she formed a band with boyfriend DJ Peter Walshe after her modeling career. She is now married to Will, a golf course manager.
