Tra Battle (born January 5, 1985 in Forsyth, Georgia) is an American football safety for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League. He was originally signed by the Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football at Georgia.

Battle attended Mary Persons High School in Forsyth, Georgia, and was a letterman in football, basketball, and track. In football, he was a four year starter as both, a quarerback and as a safety. As a junior, he was named the team's Defensive M.V.P. As a senior, he was named the team M.V.P. and was named an All-Middle Georgia honoree from the Macon Telegraph.
