Template talk:Translation request (old)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is to go on the article talk page.
If anyone can work out how to replace "another language" with an actual language of choice (e.g. German or French) depending on context, I'd be most grateful if they could do it. Saintswithin 07:59, Jun 24, 2005 (UTC)
- I've done this, but it relies on adding the language in question as a pipe link within the template tag thus:- {{Translation request|LANGUAGE}} where LANGUAGE = the name of the language you want.
- So typing {{Translation request|Spanish}} gives:-
| This article or section should be translated (or additional material should be added from material at Spanish). Please translate this. |
- and typing {{Translation request|Arabic}} gives: -
| This article or section should be translated (or additional material should be added from material at Arabic). Please translate this. |
- I also added this tag and the similar tag I created for requests for translation from German (as these are now listed on a separate page) Template:Translation request from German (old) to the list of Talk Page templates at Wikipedia:Template messages/Talk namespace. I hope this is OK. Valiantis 20:37, 8 September 2005 (UTC)
