[edit] Travis as a disambig page

After reading through this page - there is only one article with Travis as it's complete title - Travis (band). All the rest just have Travis as *part* of it's name - which, according to WP:MOS, means they shouldn't even be on the Disambig page, let alone prevent an article such as Travis (band) being at Travis. -- Chuq 00:19, 28 January 2006 (UTC)

Travis is also the name of the boy from "Old Yeller."

[edit] Travis (band) moved

I believe most of the people looking at this article would be looking for the band Travis, and I have moved said page to "Travis", and created a disambiguation page for other entries. SUPERMASSIVE 13:02, 19 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] links to Travis as a surname

What about people with "Travis" as a surname, for example William B. Travis? Should they be included as part of the disambiguation? I tend to think so, but then I may be bias. If someone not named "Travis" agrees, please add the obvious link. TravisM 22:16, 18 July 2007 (UTC)

Answering my own question, Today I discovered Travis_(surname). I think the reasonable thing to do is to add a link from this page to Travis_(surname). That will cover William B. Travis and any others --TravisM 05:42, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
