Talk:Trash and Vaudeville

My Chemical Romance was not from the 70s or 80s. Something needs to be changed in that statement.
- I agree... I'll go ahead and just take that out for lack of a better idea. Remember to sign your posts! Wobblies 01:39, 9 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Updated/additional history
Trash and Vaudeville was opened by Ray ( I do not know his last name), a former employee of LIMBO clothing (not affiliated with the current Limbo company), which had been open for many years at 4 St. Marks. LIMBO was started by Martin Freedman in Brighton Beach around 1960. The founder of the former Canal Jeans Company, Ira Russack, visited the Brighton Beach Store while still in high school, and became friendly with Mr. Freedman. The building at 4 St. Marks is now a landmark (see a history at http://www.nyc.gov/html/lpc/downloads/pdf/reports/hamiltonholly.pdf). I am not sure of the dates in the article, but T&V was not open in that spot as early as the article says. Irvneal (talk) 19:33, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
