Five hundred years before the real name of Tral was Three Lal because the hole area with people was purchased by Hazrat Ameer Kabeer (RA) against three lals( Pearle means Lal in kashmiri) for the sake to adopt Muslim Relegion. He came from Bugdadh Iraq to spread Islam in Kashmir. By Fayaz Traly.
