[edit] Unclear as to meaning

This article is unclear. Even as someone who plays old-time banjo, I am not sure what the authors are referring to by "traditional bluegrass" Perhaps including some example performers and approximate years would help?Juneappal 02:45, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

Ditto to that I do have a strong opinion about this but I have no intention of changing it until I find good sources for it. One of the major differences that I see is that Traditional Bluegrass uses Scruggs Style Banjo while modern Bluegrass uses the Melodic style. This style is aka the Keith style, Albion moonlight 08:37, 4 November 2007 (UTC)
