Talk:Trade (profession)

Tradesman and artisans, as I understand the two terms are somewhat distinct; a tradesman being a practitioner of some particular skill and an artisan being a craftsman who designs and creates a certain type of product. I think the best way to preserve that distinctness is to briefly mention guilds in both trade (profession) and artisan, but to leave guilds to expound on the subject. So, really, I guess what I'm advocating is merging Artisan#Artisan guilds into guilds instead.--Apotheosis247 00:06, 19 October 2006 (UTC)
