Talk:Trachis

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The bit about Ikralia being the same place as Trachis seems wrong. Look at this map: http://plato-dialogues.org/tools/greece.htm

And then when you look at Ikralia, Greece in Google Earth, it is clearly in the far north of Greece, by the Macedonian/Bulgarian borders.

The real location of Trachis seems to be just west of the western tip of the island of Euboea. I am going to update it. Joey 03:05, 19 February 2006 (UTC)

Trakai is the ancient capital of Lithuania and in Lithuanian language 'trakas' means the place in the middle of the forest with the trees cut or burned —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.151.173.120 (talk) 23:10, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
