TRANSLTR is a fictionial computer from the book Digital Fortress by Dan Brown.

it has been designed by the NSA to decipher cryptograms by brute force
it can process thirty million keys per second or one hundred billion keys per hour
it has three millions processors that work in the same time and are friged by a gas called FREON.
it can decipher a message encrypted by a ten thousand bits key in one hour (This is of course fiction, in order to try 2¹⁰⁰⁰⁰ keys, a number with more than 3000 digits, even an extremely fast computer would take millions of years)
it is a well-kept secret. NSA denies its existence and carries disinformation, intimidation or blackmail against anyone attempting to reveal its existence.
