This poster is copyrighted property. However, its use on Toy Soldiers (film) constitutes fair use since:

  1. It is used on the main article about the subject, and serves as a primary illustration for identification.
  2. The resolution has been reduced from the original to make it presentable in the encyclopedic format. No substantial, or substantive, changes have been made to the meaning or presentation in these alterations.
  3. It does not deprive the owner of any revenue, or opportunities.
  4. It is clear that no endorsement of the article is implied, nor is it likely that any confusion will occur from this placement.
  5. No free substitute can be made, nor is it replaceable.

Fair use is also justified on 1990s in film for the above reasons (2)-(5), with (1) replaced by "Due to the stature of the film in question, it serves as an iconic representation for movies of its era". Quentin X
