Tower Island

Tower Island (63°33′S, 059°51′W) is a sub-antarctic island 8 km (5 mi) long and 305 m high, lying 32 km (20 mi) northeast of Trinity Island and marking the northeast extent of Palmer Archipelago. It was named on January 30, 1820, by Edward Bransfield, Master, Royal Navy, who described it as a round island.
