[edit] Russian names

The names of the destroyers transferred to the Soviet Navy are not consistent between the two lists. The names in section 1 derive from a United States Navy source; the names in section 2 come from uboat.net, originally from British sources. I don't know anything about transliteration from Russian so I am unable to do the correction. I hope that someone with some expertise can correct them. Gdr 20:41, 2004 Dec 14 (UTC)

[edit] Categories

As far as I can see, these ships are listed exclusively under their USN names, which is correct for their USN service. Their USN names are also used in RN categories, eg Town class destroyers. Any objections to me replacing them by their RN names? Folks at 137 18:42, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
