The article cited in a link makes a number of controversial conclusions about Biblical scholarship and archaeology, and the author's conclusions about the location of the Tower of Siloam are sharply different from the consensus of scholars. It shouldn't be the only article linked to here--either add some more, or take it out. --Atterlep 04:25, 15 September 2006 (UTC)

I'm not sure about how reputable the claim that the archaeological ruins = biblical Tower of Siloam is, but the next section is full of the author's own theological ramblings that are better suited to a bulletin board, not wikipedia. Georgeslegloupier 04:43, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

This article needs serious work done to it. This NT passage is not about the problem of evil, but about rebellion against Rome, which was the undercurrent of the day.

I see no established theological basis to assume Jesus did not know why the tower fell, the possibility of mere randomness to death, nor the repentance of those who died as a result of the towers fall. However, I do see well known theological basis for point made about "irredeemably sinful". stephened (talk) 16:05, 22 November 2007 (UTC)
