The userboxes explain most everything very efficiently! I am a recent college grad, and it has always been important to me to help make a difference in the world. I try to do so at work (environmental monitoring) but office politics and such are no fun. I hope by contributing knowledge on this site and helping to build a resource for learning that I can contribute to something larger than myself. Hopefully, Wikipedia can show the world the power of collaboration and cooperation.

I first joined Wikipedia back in the summer of 2005, and have contributed on and off since then.I'm more of a browser than an active user. When working, I usually work on editing grammar and correcting factual errors. I want to write and expand on a few articles, and learn more about some of the other wiki projects. I work on all sorts of articles, but like to focus on science technology,and math, with forays into transportation, pop culture and GLBT issues.
