Tour de stade
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
A Tour de Stade (fr: "tour of the stadium") is a physical exercise in which a person runs up and down all the stairs in every section of a stadium.[1] The practice is associated in particular with Harvard Stadium at Harvard University, where it has been practiced for at least twenty years.[2] Long-distance runners use the exercise to develop explosiveness.[2] The phenomenon has also made its way into popular culture, and a reference to a Tour de Stade was made in "Man of Science, Man of Faith", a season 2 episode of the TV-show "Lost".
