Karnataka tourism is an interesting article, but it seems wholly inappropriate for wikipedia, which is an encyclopedia. Wikipedia is not a tourist guide, so it's not really appropriate to use the same sort of voice or topic. You might want to try submitting that material at Wikitravel, or rewriting it to be more in line with our content policies and style guide. I'd especially recommend that you read up on WP:NPOV, along with the No original research policy, which prohibits inserting opinions (your own or others) into articles as fact. You mean you dont like the tone of the article (I can edit to remove original research and unsupported claims) or you think tourism article should not be an encyclopedia entry? Leotolstoy 18:50, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

If it's going to take the form of a tourist guide, it doesn't belong in wikipedia. I'm not sure how you could restructure this. List of landmarks? Normally this sort of stuff would get broken out. Most of the articles in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Tourism_in_India are of this nature. Either point me to a tourism related article which is apt for encyclopedia (so that I can restructure this article to that tone) or delete all the articles in that category.
