[edit] Article Name
We can anticipate that in future years the race will have a different sponsor, and, hence, the name of the race will change. So, I was going to suggest that we rename the article to simply Tour of California. However, I now think that in future years Tour of California (which currently redirects to here) can be made a disambiguation page, pointing to this page for the "early years", and to FutureSponsor Tour of California for others. --[[User:Serge
- Agree: recommend that Amgen Tour of California be renamed to Tour of California and then the Amgen Tour of California be redirected to the Tour of California. -- 17:43, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Amgen Tour of California → Tour of California — As suggested above, it is a more stable name for the event. A google search also suggests by the far the most popular as well "Amgen Tour of Californa" = 76k, "Tour of California" -Amgen = 276k —SeveroTC 23:00, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
