Toshiba HD-A3
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Toshiba HD-A3 is Toshiba Corporation's third generation HD DVD player. It was introduced in November 2007 to replace the HD-A2. Although the "Format War" between HD DVD and its opposing HD format Blu-ray Disc is over, Toshiba will continue to market its remaining HD DVD hardware. The players will continue to be sold until the last have been shipped, and will still, of course, play HD DVDs and standard DVDs; upscaling the latter to very near HD quality without the need for an extra cable or hookup.
