[edit] Tosk Albanian

Being a Tosk albanian i can only speak from my point of viewand what i have and experienced. It is claimed that the word tosk comes from from people who were forced to flee northern italy in ancient times when romans were invading italy from galia(today france) and they settled in today south albania. There is a striking similarity between names of both places. Tuscany or Toscany are variant names of the area in north Italy and Toskeri is albanian are in south of albania.Someone has to understand that even though they not the same the word origin looks the same. The Albanian Tosk dialect has a heavy pronunciation on letter e with two dots on top. the most prominent habitants of Toskeri are Labet and their are is called Laberia. In Laberia you will find a unique form of poliphonic music. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.74.68.64 (talk • contribs) 01:45, February 8, 2006
