From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Toryn Green (born November 3, 1975) is the vocalist for hard-rock band Fuel, as confirmed on the band's official website on April 19, 2007.

Toryn was raised in Alaska, where he graduated from Colony High School. Green played to thousands at a festival in Beijing in late 2005 with the band Something to Burn, and the band recorded an EP entitled 'The Incinerator', which was released in April 2006. Green has also written and performed with another band entitled Patience Worth. Audio of his work with his previous bands is available on MySpace. He once represented America in the Worldwide Battle of the Bands with STB held in Hong Kong.

Hearing about the open website auditions for Fuels' new lead singer from a friend, Green recorded and submitted his version of the song "Hemorrhage (In My Hands)" two hours after hearing about the audition.[1] He co-wrote "Halos Of The Son" with Jeff Abercrombie and former "Patience Worth" bandmate, Ryan Giles, and released it on their album Angels & Devils on August 7, 2007.

[edit] Appearances

On the October 30, 2007 episode of LA Ink, Green received an ambigram tattoo from Kim Saigh on his left forearm. Both of Toryn's Ambigram tattoos (Angel/Devil and Sinner/Saint) were designed by Ambigram Artist Mark Palmer of WowTattoos.

Toryn toured as lead vocalist for the band Apocalyptica in its 2008 Worlds Collide Tour.
