Torkhow

Torkhow is a town and a Tehsil (a subdivision) of Chitral District in the North-West Frontier Province of Pakistan.
It is located 108 km from the main city of Chitral. Shahgram is the main town of this region. Torkhow is on the border of Wakhan (a valley of Afghanistan). The language of Chitral, Khowar, originated from this area.
