[edit] Early career

From an early age, Rønna developed a strong bond with clubs throughout Hedmark County in his effort of becoming the world's no. 1 football player. One of his friends during his early career, Jan Åge Fjørtoft, left him as a cause of his ADD desease. They haven't been in touch since. Jan Åge himself says it's a forgotten part of his life. Something he does not want to re-experience.[citation needed] His grandfather, also aliased "Rønna", wanted him to become a lumberjack. For Tore, however, this was not the case. He dropped out of Elementary school in 5th grade and started playing football full-time.[1]

[edit] Club career

[edit] Flisa Stars

He started playing for the professional Norwegian 2nd division team "Flisa Stars" at the age of thirteen. Much of his early club career has roots in Flisa Stars, a team which later developed into a football club for para-athletes.

[edit] Hamarkameratene

Aged 16 Hamarkameratene bought the promising midfielder from Flisa Stars, for approx. £10 million (ca. 100 million NOK). After a tough start, the before-so-promising player started to lose confidence. At the age of 17, things started to loosen up, and the season of '89 he scored a total of 12 goals. He was honoured with the prestigous sports award, The Kniksen, for his appearance that very season. Until present the now-veteran player, Rønna, has been playing as a central midfielder. His career in Hamkam ended in the autumn of 2007,and he's now one of the candidates of becoming Lillestrøm's new manager, succeeding Jan Åge Fjørtoft -- its current coach.

[edit] Norway National Football Team

He appeared for the first time at Ullevaal the 11th of September 1996(U21), and joined Drillo's squad in early 1997. Holding the captain band from 1997-2005, he became one of the most famous Norwegian football players. In 2004 he was suceeded by Martin Andresen.
