Template talk:Toronto skyscrapers

I started the template after contributing to Detroit's, and included sections: Skyscraper, proposed and parks etc. The parks are part of Detroit's template and I think it adds a kind of counter point to the buildings, although I have no idea if other skyscraper templates use parks. Why would parks be included in a template for skyscrapers? That doesn't seem to make any sense at all. -- Whpq 01:50, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

Well I think they are included in Detroit's because they are so central to how that city has developed archetecturally, the parks there are like continuations of the buildings. Plus the "parks" are really not parks by definition but urban space which uses the name "park". I don't think that is similiar in Toronto, except for Nathan Phillips Square and Dundas Square, which can be added to the normal template.
