[edit] links

Is the link from this page to "Shaka" correct? I admittedly don't know much about this topic, but i don't see the relationship between Japanese sculpture and Shaka Zulu as being the one the original author intended. Maybe i'm missing something? Archtemplar 03:23, 9 February 2006 (UTC)

Doh! Someone clearly didn't check the links before hitting [Save page]. I just fixed it. It was a goof / Japanese version for Shakya, itself the name of Siddhartha Gautama's clan, and also short for Shakyamuni or Sakyamuni, one of the names of the Buddha. [edit] Pictures

Does anyone have any more pictures of the statues described here? They'd be very much appreciated. There's nothing better for talking about artwork than to have a visual image to refer to.  :) Cheers, Eiríkr Útlendi | Tala við mig 21:08, 5 May 2006 (UTC)
