[edit] Fat Zombie ?
Seeing as Tor's face became a succesful Halloween mask and with the cult status of Plan 9 and its zombie character, could it be that Id Software were inspired by him for their "Zombie Fat" character in Doom 3 ? To be fair, they look very much alike (face, hair, eyes, pose, expression, behaviour... only the clothes differ) and if this is true, I think it would be worthy of noticing here. I don't think there was an intentional relation-- that zombie looks more like Matt Pinfield to me. Telor 15:47, 30 May 2007 (UTC)
