Topo (DC Comics)

Topo is a fictional character that has appeared in various comic books published by DC Comics. He is an octopus with humanlike intelligence. Appearing as a sidekick to Aquaman, he exists within DC's main shared universe, known as the DC universe.

The original Topo first appeared in 1956. Among his many skills, Topo once demonstrated his skill with a bow and arrow. He was allegedly taught archery by the Green Arrow. Supposedly he was able to play several musical instruments simultaneously.

An updated version of Topo appears in Aquaman: Sword of Atlantis. This version is more humanoid in form, but still has many octopus-like abilities.
