Top of the Hill Celtic Football Club is an amateur football club founded in 1979 by Kevin Webb and Willie Smyth in Derry. The club currently competes in the Derry and District League.

In recent years, the club has been relatively successful. A number of youth players have received plaudits from both the local and national press, including Michael McCrudden, the youth team captain (now at Newcastle United), who has represented Northern Ireland at youth level.[1]

The Senior team finished runners up in both the league and cup last year and, despite losing some players, hope to build on this progression. The team were beaten again in the following season's MacAlinden Cup Final.[citation needed]
