Top Aces Consulting

Top Aces Consulting Incorporated is a defence contractor based in Pointe Claire, Quebec and works with the Canadian Forces with training pilots under CATS (Contracted Airborne Training Services) program.
The firm was founded in 2000 and is made up of 3 ex-CF pilots with experience with CF-18 fighters and jet trainers like the CT-155 Hawk II.
The company signed a 94-million contract with CF in 2005 and began supply their jet trainers in 2006. The company has 8 trainers and 4 are now based out of 3 Wing out of Bagotville, Quebec.

The Alpha Jets were initially purchased by the German Luftwaffe as their trainers. They were sold to Abbatare Incorporated of Arlington, Washington and then sold to Top Aces.
Some jets bear US registration, but some (4) jets have been registered for use in Canada. Unlike the Bombardier Aerospace BAE Hawk trainers, the Top Aces jets do not bear any CF markings and are not counted officially by the CF as part of their aircraft inventory. The jets have the old paint job from the Luftwaffe.
