[edit] Mount View High School (Cessnock)
I removed the links to Myspace on that page because they may violate Wikipedia's external link guideline. Links to myspace are generally only acceptable if they are specifically about the subject of the article (eg. a link to the myspace of a singer, on the singer's article). As these links add nothing to promote the article, they should not be included and may be considered spam links for the bands. You say This competition has grown to become the largest competition for high school bands in the state outside Sydney. Whenever you use superlatives like largest you need to have an external source to back that statement up. The information in articles should meet WP:N, which means the information should be mentioned in a reliable external source (like a newspaper) before it can be included. More iomportant is the policy WP:ATT which states that all infomation must be included in external sources before it can go into an article. Welcome to Wikipedia though, we hope you stay. I know it can be a little confusing for a newcomer sometimes (we have over 40 policies and even more guidelines). Mr.Z-mantalkยข 03:52, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
