Tony Randel

Tony Randel is an American director born in Los Angeles, California. His first break in the film industry was working with well-known producer Roger Corman, where he worked as a visual effects designer and film editor. Later, as a Vice President of Motion Picture production at New World Entertainment he developed and or supervised such films as Clive Barker's Hellraiser, Shattered by Wolfgang Petersen, and Spike of Benson Hurst by Paul Morrissey. Randel made his directorial debut in 1989 with Hellbound: Hellraiser II. Since then, he has directed ten other films, along with numerous television series and alternative media projects.
As of 2007 he is financing his own productions through his company Sophonisba.[citation needed]
