Tony Muser

Tony Muser (pronounced /ˈmjuːzɚ/; born August 1, 1947) is currently the manager for the Peoria Padres, the rookie level team in the San Diego Padres farm system. From 1997 until 2002, Muser served as the manager of the Kansas City Royals. After being replaced by Tony Pena, Muser spent four seasons as the bench coach for the San Diego Padres under Bruce Bochy.

Tony Muser spent parts of nine seasons in the Major Leagues with the Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, Baltimore Orioles, and the Milwaukee Brewers. He had a lifetime .259 batting average.
